AI Fluency: Framework and Foundations

Developed by Anthropic with professors from Ringling College and University College Cork, this course teaches the 4D Framework for productive human-AI collaboration: Delegation (deciding what to hand off to AI), Description (crafting effective prompts), Discernment (evaluating AI outputs critically), and Diligence (using AI ethically and safely). Two major sections cover AI fundamentals and hands-on practical skills across creative, business, and analytical tasks. Financial analysts can directly apply the Discernment and Diligence modules to evaluating AI-generated reports, flagging hallucinated data, and understanding where AI adds risk in regulated workflows. No prior AI experience required.
